It’s with much excitement, many bags under my eyes and plenty of nerves I share with you that my plan is to release my debut novel and its soundtrack in 2027!

I’m coming close to completing draft 9 of the book and have reached the point where it’s time to set that looming deadline, that final structure to make me hustle these last months of editing together. I’m also halfway through composing the soundtrack, a few more tracks to go, but with a nice push over the next year or so I will have them done, mixed and mastered for your ears!

This last draft was the last major structural edit I could muster. I’ll be sharing this version of the manuscript with a few very trusted friends, before handing it over to an editor. This has been such a cool process – spending so much time and space editing it on my own terms has really helped me improve my writing, find my own writing flaws, restructure major events, develop characters, draw out the emotion and overall get this story working properly. Having the soundtrack to develop on the side has been welcome relief to all the hours spent looking at a computer screen! Listening to and composing the music has been like a balm, but also will add such a cool vibe to the finished product. I hope everyone will enjoy both pieces!
